Position Overview
We're seeking an innovative, hands-on chef to lead our scratch kitchen, develop new menu items, and help shape our culinary future. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creative flair and business acumen, bringing both culinary excellence and operational leadership to our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations, maintaining our high standards for food quality and presentation
- Develop and execute seasonal specials that showcase local ingredients and culinary creativity
- Create and document new menu items, keeping our offerings fresh and exciting
- Capture compelling food photography for social media and marketing materials
- Manage food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships while maintaining profitability
- Build and lead a high-performing kitchen team through training, scheduling, and mentorship
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Collaborate with management on business growth strategies and expansion plans
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven culinary experience, preferably in fast-casual or scratch kitchen environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and safety procedures
- Demonstrated experience with menu development and seasonal ingredient utilization
- Proven ability to manage food costs and maintain profitable operations
- Experience with staff scheduling, training, and team leadership
- Basic photography skills and understanding of social media content creation
- ServSafe certification or equivalent

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
